This unique Welsh Tradition of giving a lovespoon has spread outside Wales, and is now welcomed in the United States. Dating as far back as the seventeenth century, Welsh Love Spoons are given to someone for whom affection is held ~ a family member, fiancée, or friend. They have become a much sought after artifact amongst collectors. Each lovespoon, to be authentic, has to be hand crafted from a single piece of wood. The spoons that we have combine both ancient Celtic designs and symbols of affection, commitment and faith.
